The Grand Canyon Railway published its vision for a light rail circulator through the South Rim Historic Area. Central to the document are five JCT paintings which show rail as complementary to landscape and not its nemesis. In this and similar publications, the proposed rail corridors are pictured with ground level and aerial views. They become "landscapes of expectation," inviting the support of investors, backers, and potential riders.
